Many restaurants, coffee shops and hotels offer free WiFi. Internet cafes are also situated on almost every corner of Ubud so don't worry there will be plenty of opportunities for you to contact your friends or family.

Even though internet cafes are spread all over the city, the Main Road of Ubud happens to be the center to find most of them. In case you need internet access during the night you can try Bali Highway (open 24/7).

You can buy a local Sim Card, amongst other places, in "Ubud Music and Photo Centre". Card with a number and a few credits costs Rp 25,000 (Simpati service, provided by Telkomsel). Add credit by buying vouchers 50k (Rp 53,000) and 100k (Rp 102,000).
